Hajar life under threat 

A Kurdish activist from Eastern Kurdistan has been on hunger strike since Jan 3.

Hajar Piri,  33 from Kurdish city of Naqadeh has been jailed for more than eight months in Tabriz prison.  According to KMMK sources,  she is beaten and tortured by government security forces for political activities. She was arrested initially in 2007 under sympathy with exiled Kurdish parties.
